The Illinois-Missouri Indoor Bullseye Pistol League was established in 1949. The wise men who founded our organization are:

In the late forties, there were several shooting teams participating in outdoor matches during the summer in the bi-state area. In 1949, employees of the Winchester-Western company thought it would be good idea to organize an indoor winter league to keep everyone sharp over the off-season. Indeed it was! Thus the "Ill-Mo Pistol League" was born. The original teams that participated in that very first season were:
